NPW Community:

As you know, over the past few years, Nonprofit Westchester has taken the lead in getting prompt contracting legislation passed in NY State. Since January, we have been part of a coalition working to help draft and promote S7001 Mayer/A7616 Paulin, a bill that would address common challenges nonprofits face with NYS contracts. This was unanimously passed in the Senate and Assembly this year. Now we are working to urge Gov. Hochul to sign the bill into law. You can help!

We are hosting a one-hour meeting on Friday, Oct. 3rd, at noon and inviting nonprofits for a review of the bill basics and to learn ways to support passage of the bill into law.
