Public Student Service Loan Forgiveness: July 14

Last year, the U.S. Department of Education announced a temporary period during which borrowers may receive credit for payments that previously did not qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or Temporary Expanded PSLF (TEPSLF). This waiver makes it easier for public service employees to receive credit for more payments. However, this waiver currently expires on October 31, 2022. Please share with your staff and encourage them to apply by Oct. 31. Learn More

On July 14th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, NPW, Westchester Jewish Community Services and Nonprofit New York will host a virtual training on Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness.

Invest in Women's Health - Havard Business Review, June 2, 2022

Summary: By several measures, there is a women’s health crisis in the United States. While the federal government is doing more, employers can play an instrumental role in combating it. They can do three things: offer better health insurance that, among other things, provides access to safe abortions; provide paid parental leave; and redesign the workplace to support women.
