The Urban League of Westchester County (ULW) is on a mission to empower African Americans and underserved residents, ensuring economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights. As a historic non-profit, civil-rights mission-based organization, we actively enhance academic and social development through advocacy and services, promoting economic self-sufficiency and racial inclusion. Committed to uplifting historically underserved communities in Westchester, we stand as a catalyst for positive change, dismantling barriers, and advancing social justice.

Founded in 1918, the Urban League of Westchester spearheads its efforts with innovative programs, implementing services and sustaining advocacy. We are committed to elevating the standard of living in historically underserved Westchester communities. Proudly serving 48 municipalities, ULW work’s collaboratively to strengthen communities by positively influencing youths, adults, and families, enabling them to reach their highest potential and ascend the economic ladder.
