Groundwork Hudson Valley Invasive Vine Cutting Volunteer Opportunity

Join Groundwork Hudson Valley in combating a variety of invasive vines along the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. Help us free the trees that provide shade for recreation and habitat for wildlife. We will provide tools, gloves, and snacks. No previous experience necessary!

Find the work site at 13-11 Arthur St, Yonkers NY 10701

Directions for Vehicles: For those using GPS to find the work site, please use 13-11 Arthur, Yonkers NY 10701. You will find signs and volunteers directing participants to the site. Street parking can be found on Aqueduct Place and adjacent streets.

Directions for Public Transit: Participants can take the BeeLine 1 Bus to the Warburton Ave @ Arthur St. Stop and walk up Arthur St. to the entrance of the OCA.

TO BRING: Please dress in layers and wear durable shoes. We will have tools available for volunteers. We’ll also have hot drinks!
