Hands On Intergenerational Arts Program: Storytelling through Clay for those 65+ and teens

From Dorot and ArtsWestchester: A skilled teacher will guide you in making a clay artifact that expresses your own personal story. Working in pairs, you will get to know each other and discuss literal or figurative representations of your life’s story. The instructor will then introduce tools and materials to help you learn to work with clay. With the help of the instructor, each participant will complete a clay project of a tile or plaque that represents themselves and will have the opportunity to share some of their life story with a partner from a different generation.

Three sessions: Wednesday March 27, Wednesday April 3, and Thursday April 11, 2019
