Volunteer New York! has announced the dates for their 2019 Nonprofit Board Boot Camp and Nonprofit Board Speed Dating. As featured in the Wall Street Journal, this event is geared towards increasing the pipeline of potential local board candidates by providing an overview on some board service basics and helping them understand how to be a prepared and effective board member, before introducing them to local nonprofits in search of board members! As a local nonprofit if you have a need for board members and would like to be considered for participation in the Nonprofit Board Speeding Dating portion of the event please complete this form. 

This is a great opportunity to increase the pipeline of potential board candidates locally and something all NPW members can benefit from.

Session 1: Oct. 23 (White Plains)

Session 2: Oct. 30 (White Plains)

Nonprofit Board Speed Dating: Nov. 20 (White Plains)

Fee: $15 for individuals interested in serving on boards

(fee includes registration to all 3 events)
