Human Service Council: Virtual Bake Sale!

Dear HSC Members & Supporters –

As you know, the Strong Nonprofits Campaign's annual Human Services Bake Sale will be held remotely next Thursday, January 28th in an event called the Home Bake Sale. 

We hope you will join us next Thursday, January 28th, for this digital event and help us advocate for the FY22 Strong Nonprofits asks:

• For the State to honor state contracts;
• recognize human services workers as essential workers;
• and raise revenue responsibly.

Keep your eyes on your inboxes next week – we'll be sending the recipe book, sample tweets, and infographics in an eblast on Tuesday.

In the meantime, we would like you to prepare for next week's Home Bake Sale and get baking! Here are some ways to prepare for next Thursday's virtual day of action:

1. Get baking!  – Take pictures or record short video clips of yourself making a baked good of your choice (we won't tell if you buy a baked good at the store!)

2. Prep your baked good photos – Next Thursday, you can share the photos/videos of you baking and/or your finished product on Twitter using SNP's sample tweets (we'll send you sample tweets on Tuesday).

3. Puns encouraged – Use as much symbolism – and as many puns! – as you want in the video clips or pictures to illustrate the Home Bake Sale policy asks!
