Mission Statement
Mount Vernon United Tenants works to protect tenant rights, preserve affordable housing, and help residents stay safely and stably in their homes.
We provide education, advocacy, organizing, and one‑on‑one support so that tenants understand their housing situation and know where to turn for help.
Our mission is to ensure that Mount Vernon and surrounding areas housing meet the needs of low‑ and moderate‑income people and that every tenant has a strong, organized voice in the community.
