Screen Time Strategies: Adapting to COVID-19: A Virtual Community Conversation for Parents and Caregivers

As we develop new routines and practice social distancing, many parents are feeling conflicted as they balance limited screen time for their children against the need to work remotely, adapt to online education and see friends and family by way of video chat. Join The Mental Health Association of Westchester as we explore the changing role of screen time with developmental pediatrician Dr. Mark Bertin in our first-ever Virtual Community Conversation. Dr. Bertin will offer guidance on healthy ways for children to engage with media and technology during this time of social isolation and distancing. Connecting on this important topic from the comfort and safety of our own homes, we will explore the role of screen time in the face of COVID-19, how parents can make the best choices for their families, and how to manage screen time for children of varying ages and with multiple needs. A Q&A will follow Dr. Bertin's presentation. Parents of toddlers through school age will benefit most from the topics we discuss. Registration is free but space is limited.
